Pippin star Patina Miller had the most magical night ever on April 25—she celebrated her official opening on Broadway, and she also got engaged! Miller’s real-life leading man David Mars popped the question at the Pippin after-party, held at New York City restaurant Slate...and she said yes! Miller was surrounded by family and friends at the event, including her mother, Robin, and stepfather, Tim.
Miller and Mars have been dating for nearly two years. Mars currently serves as a partner in White Owl Capital Partners, a New York based early stage investment firm. Miller can currently be seen swinging high on the trapeze in Pippin as the Leading Player. She made her Broadway debut in Sister Act, garnering a Tony nomination for her portrayal of Deloris Van Cartier. She also appeared in Sister Act in the West End, the 2008 production of Hair in Central Park and Romantic Poetry at MTC.
Best wishes to the happy couple!
